Finally at peace after a few days of merciless testing... I tell you the truth, miscommunication truly is a b*tch... like you wouldn't believe. What a worldly impact it would have if the world was void of it completely... imagine all the arguments that never would have happened, the wars and conflicts that would simply have never existed. Yet because of a combination of human inability to either communicate clearly, or to listen and understand effectively, we live in a world where miscommunication is often the soup du jour...
In some ways I wonder if miscommunication is in fact a mere extension of what happened at the Tower of Babel... as you'll recall from the Bible and what we studied in BSF last year, a huge group of people were building a massive stone idol or statue of some sort (haha even I dont recall exactly...) and it most displease God and just like that He change their spoken language causing miscommunication and confusion and eventually dispersed them all over. Miscommunication from the inability to speak the same language I can understand, hard to comprehend someone when you dont know the vocabulary or the spoken words... but when it's in the same spoken language? Yeah... definitely an extension of the Tower of Babel...
<sigh>'ing off... a little bit wiser to say the least...

| First day back to school always brings back a sense of nostalgia... actually first week if you really want to get in to it... because back in the day it used to be my most favourite time of the year - the fall colours, the seeing of old friends, the purchasing of new stationary, and the collection of all the free stuff one could possible get on campus!! Not to mention the great poster sale heh...
Naturally the first day back to school also brings with it a flood of traffic and increased travel time. I don't hate slow drivers, I do very much dislike drivers in the fast lane that think they are fast but they really aren't... yes, I'm a firm believer of people respecting the rules of the road - written and unwritten.
BoB or Band of Brothers... what a great series, what a great idea to make it a series of fellowship moments with some great friends! The underlying themes are truly exemplified and on a personal level, it is speaking volumes to me at a time when I'm going through some frustrating, shocking and just out right sleep-depriving times... why? Because at the end of the day, after much thought and what-if time, we're all still brothers...
<sigh>

| Wow this is so weird... yes, it's been a while since I've been on this site... not sure why I have returned, but likely b/c it is a world that is un-fb meaning there is less traffic which ultimately permits a sense of freedom... not to mention I'm not a big fan of posting "Notes" on fb as they call them especially when it can be viewed by so many people...
So here I am. A return to the good 'ole days? We'll see...
P.S. Oh my goodness, I just noticed the "Extras - Facebook" option of publishing this entry to my Facebook profile... wow... wouldnt that just defeat the whole point?

| The theory is that I am supposed to be a little wiser now... but only time will tell... In the mean time, praise God for another amazing year of life!!! | | |
